Event description

Description

As in-house infrastructure ages and bandwidth costs continue to fall, nonprofit organizations are in a great position to take advantage of cloud technology. What functions should move to the cloud? How will security needs be addressed?

The presenters will discuss how to make these decisions and design a hybrid cloud network that is right for your agency. A Hybrid Cloud is a composition of two or more clouds (private, community or public) that remain distinct entities but are bound together.

During the session we will discuss a broad range of cloud computing trends. We will review different designs and provideexamples of how some agencies are working in a hybrid or full cloud environment. This will be an interactive session catering to specific questions attendees have about cloud computing, including ballpark costs.

Key Takeaways:

  • Understanding the next round of cloud computing and how each organization can benefit.
  • Understand how to get past the sales jargon they confront each day and make informed decisions that benefit the agency they work for.
  • Concrete ideas to improve network and staff performance through cloud resources, bandwidth and redundancy

This workshop will be presented by Jason Hutchins, President, and Claudio Nunez, CTO, of Nonprofit Solutions Network
