Join us to celebrate 10 years of Pilot Light, a 30-minute yoga with Christina Wu, and a cocktail making demo featuring Apologue liqueurs!

About this Event

Join Pilot Light's Young Professionals Board to celebrate 10 years of Pilot Light!

We'll start the virtual evening with a welcome from our Young Professional Board's President, Natalie Hall, and then learn about how Pilot Light has been adjusting to support students and teachers in virtual classrooms with videos and photos from classrooms from Pilot Light Food Education Manager, Caitlin Arens.

Then we'll be ready for a relaxing and rejuvenating 30-minute yoga from the lovely Christina Wu (all levels and experience welcome!). Following the flow, we'll be led through a hot toddy making demonstration by a local mixologist and curated by Erica Helms of Apologue to include: Apologue's Persimmon, Blind Tiger Bourbon, The Bitter Ex Bitters, lemon, honey, and hot water. Kit includes: 200ml Blind Tiger Bourbon from Chicago Distilling, 375ml Apologue Persimmon, 50 mL bottle of The Bitter Ex "Old Flame" Cedar and Cloves Bitters, and box with additional Apologue materials (note: kit does not include lemon, honey, and hot water)! Kits will be delivered to your home by our team using the address listed, and follow up details will be sent via email in advance of the event!

After we've warmed up, we'll draw three (yes, 3!) winners to receive a raffle prize consisting of:

  • 1 x signed copy of Paul Kahan's Cooking for Good Times or Cheers to the Publican
  • 1 x bottle of wine (either Kumeu River Hunting Hill Chardonnay 2016 or Outpost Howell Mountain Zinfandel 2013)
  • 1 x $100 Lobster Gram gift card
  • 1 x trio of signature DIVINA retail items: Roasted Red Tomatoes, Kalamata Olives, and a bottle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 x Pilot Light Tote bag...all delivered to your home by our team following the event!

Following the raffle, we'll raise a hot toddy or tea (your choice!) to 10 years of Pilot Light's food education programming, and connect with one another in celebration.
