Description

“Making Space for Indigenous Law”

The Law Library of Congress commemorates Native American Heritage Month with a conversation with Leo Crippa, senior attorney, and Armstrong Wiggins, director of the DC office for the Indian Law Resource Center, about respectful representation of indigenous peoples.

They provide legal assistance to Indian and Alaska Native nations who are working to protect their lands, resources, human rights, environment and cultural heritage. Their principal goal is the preservation and well-being of Indian and other Native nations and tribes.
