Making , Shaping and Decorating Mugs

Most of us start our day with a " mug hug ". Make your own creative , one of a kind mugs from the heart in this two class workshop. In class one you'll learn how to plan your pieces - then center , pull and shape them. In class two we'll start with a lesson in basic and more elaborate trimming - then let the decorating fun begin ! Students may pick a theme like Space , Floral , Mushrooms , etc using the large variety of sprig molds available or simply carve ( draw ) what you'd like on the surface. And last we'll make and attach handles. Even they can be unique in look and placement! It will be a fun class with lots of useful lessons for beginner and experienced potters.

Members will provide their own clay and tools
