Overview

Learn about ways that practitioners in Ontario justice, corrections and policing are working to incorporate indigenous considerations into policy and outreach initiatives. Participate in an open discussion about how we can learn from these experiences and bring indigenous voices into other areas of public service.

Speakers

Speakers will discuss initaitives such as the Correctional Services Human Rights Plan, the Community Safety and Well-Being Planning Framework, and other initiatives undertaking in 2017 to support and educate staff, stakeholders and the public on indigenous initiatives in Ontario's justice system.
