Event description

Description

Are you making, manufacturing, or producing in Detroit? Or, do you provide resources and services for those that do? Join us for the first Detroit City of Design Series focused on small scale‐manufacturing. An important topic throughout our visioning process, small scale‐manufacturing has potential to drive Detroit's future growth. A survey of 100 local makers conducted in partnership with Urban Manufacturing Alliance in 2017 revealed the opportunities and challenges facing this growing sector of our economy. We now invite you for a presentation of key findings and available resources, and a lively discussion about what it all means for our makers / manufacturers. Refreshments will be served.
