Description

Kimchi - for those not in the know – is saurkraut's spicy Korean cousin. Come and learn about fermenting vegetables in general while we, hands-on, make kimchi over the course of the workshop. We'll taste some kimchi and saurkraut to start off and then get on with the making! With a common cabbage and radish base, each attendee will then be able choose the flavor direction and spice level of their own personal jar of kimchi. While traditionally kimchi does include a fish sauce component, we'll be making ours vegan in this workshop. After learning the health benefits and process of fermenting vegetables, attendees will take their jars home to ferment and be ready to eat and enjoy approximately two weeks later.

Attendees receive a mason jar full of ther own kimchi including a re-usable air-lock lid for further fermentation fun at home after the class.

Attendees also receive a 10% discount on merchandise the day of the workshop.
