Making History in the Adirondack Mountains: The 46 Unsupported Thru-Hike
Event Information
About this Event
On September 17, 2020, Katie Rhodes and Bethany Garretson became the first women to complete an unsupported thru hike of the 46 Adirondack High Peaks in seven days, four hours and 50 minutes. The weeklong journey consisted of 183 miles and 65,000 feet of elevation gain. They aligned their historic trek with 46 Climbs, an organization that raises awareness and funds for suicide prevention.
Unsupported means that Katie and Bethany packed their packs, stepped on trail and received no form of assistance. They covered the 183 by foot and did not have food resupplies. Learn how they planned for and executed the thru hike.
Register for this webinar to meet these two amazing women and learn about their adventure. This will be an educational event; you won’t want to miss it if you have the goal to one day follow in their footsteps!
FREE - suggested donation of $4.60 (for the 46 high peaks)
