Event description

Description

What is it?

Making Connections is a learning programme to support participants on the BBO programme and the practitioners that support them.

You will go on visits, talk to guest speakers, ask questions to panels of experts and share your experiences of living in the area you are from with other people in a confidential and informal environment.

The themes of the days include local policing, health, organisations in the Voluntary Sector, green and renewable energy and local employment.

You will also pick up loads of information and make good contacts to help you achieve your goals.

Where?

The first programme will be run in Hull. Each programme day is themed and so will be at different venues to make it interesting. Transport arrangements can be made with CERT to help you get to venues in the mornings and home afterwards. Information on venues will be provided to you when you enrol on the course.

When?

Start date is 12th September. The programme then runs one day per week until the 17th October. Programme days will be from 10:00am to 16:00pm. Some days may start at 09:30am depending on visits.

Who is it for?

Anyone who has been signed up for BBO support across the Humber and members of staff and volunteers from BBO practitioners.

How do I book on?
