Event description

Description

The Making Connections project is bringing disabled people together with transport operator staff and other professionals to experience and assess journey connections between rail and ferry services. So far we've walked through the connections form rail stations ferry terminals in Aberdeen and Ardrossan and we've heard lots of insights, stories and examples of challenges that disabled people can face.

The next stage is to work together to develop ideas for tackling some of these challenges. We'll spend time together making prototypes to illustrate how things could be better.

Enough talking, this will be all about coming up with ideas and creating solutions to make change happen - be prepared for a creative and hands-on day!

If you've been involved in our workshops and walks so far, then you're already a Connection Maker! Please sign up, we're looking forward to seeing you again.

If you haven't been involved before now but have experiences to bring as a disabled person, you'll be welcome to join us. Please sign up and take a look at what we've been up to.

Please also join us if you're an interested transport operator, designer, policy maker, accessibility expert ...

If you're taking part as a disabled individual we can cover your travel costs (and accomodation if required). Just let us know how we can support you when you sign up.
