The nominees should demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively, provide programs and services that have measurable impact, and work to ensure that the nonprofit sector as a whole is sustainable.
Nominees should reflect our mission to:
• strengthen the reach and effectiveness of nonprofits;
• help area nonprofits better serve the community by providing expertise and resources; and
• embody the values that build the sector, including, community, collaboration, sustainability, integrity and impact.
Recipients of the Nonprofit Village “Making a Difference” Awards will give evidence of work that increases the potential for nonprofit(s) to thrive and enact social change. The selection committee also looks for nominees that work efficiently, effectively, and sustainably.
The Nonprofit Village "Making a Difference" Awards Breakfast will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Bethesda Marriott on Pooks Hill Rd.
The focus of the Nonprofit Village "Making a Difference" Awards has been modified for 2017. Please review all questions carefully. We are seeking nominations of organizations (corporate and nonprofit) that are “Making a Difference” in the community. Please note, you may nominate others or yourself.
