Calling all maker educators, to explore math concepts, artful expression, and interactive experiences in new ways. Join us as we reimagine Scratch not only as a tool for storytelling and animation, but as a canvas for digital making with geometrical shapes, and the blur the boundaries of the real and digital world through video sensing!
This session will introduce participants to a range of Scratch extensions, demonstrating how they can be applied to projects in art, music, motion, and mathematics. From using coding to generate geometric shapes and patterns, to building interactive digital artworks, to creating bilingual storytelling projects, the session will highlight how Scratch can support both creative expression and curriculum learning.
The aim is to inspire educators to use Scratch as a platform for creativity, inclusivity, and cultural engagement, opening up wide possibilities for learners of all ages.
