As you know, my company has been operating out of Jacksonville for the last three years, and we are expanding. I recently purchased an Airstream to innovate my business, turning it into a mobile studio and tiny home, keeping Jacksonville as a home base while opening up the opportunity to travel nationwide to bring my slow fashion and work to more cities.
Our farm-to-table dinner, the first offering of the Maker Series, is a fundraiser for my renovations of the Airstream. The Maker Series is the collective effort of entrepreneurs seeking to expand their reach. Showcasing the product of a maker by allowing other makers to build each event will make each Maker Series event a unique experience.
Local chef, Shoshana Raitt is preparing the meal and the dinner will be in the East gallery of CoRK on Sunday, June 26th, at 5pm.
The menu is as follows:
Heirloom Tomato Salad w/ Homemade Sauerkraut + Basil Vinaigrette
Vermicelli Squash Cold Noodle w/ Sesame + Sweet Pepper
Grilled Mayport Shrimp or Tempeh(v) over Orzo w/ Pickled Radish, Herb Oil + Balsamic Reduction
-Gallette from My Grandmother's Pie
-Biscuit Stack w/ Coconut Whipped Cream, Florida Peaches & Berries + Mint Simple Syrup (v)

Dinner tickets are $75, $100 for VIP with a happy hour INSIDE the Airstream before the dinner.
