Event Details

Learn about the origins of chocolate and how it is made bean-to-bar in Hawai‘i by tasting it in 3 forms: the delicious lychee-tasting fruit juice of cacao, a fresh roasted cacao bean, and a flight of 5 of our most popular chocolate flavors.  Finally, make your very own chocolate bar using Hawai‘i grown and made chocolate, choosing from a delicious selection of fruits, nuts and spices to flavor your bar, from toasted coconut to spicy chipotle pepper or Hawaiian sea salt. You will get to try Oahu’s award-winning chocolate and see how we make it, in this delicious, informative tour!
We close ticket sales a few hours before the event so please make sure to purchase tickets in advance! If you do need to sign up last minute (or have any other questions) please email

Cancellation Policy:
We offer a full refund, minus a $5 booking fee, if you cancel prior to 2 days before the event date. For cencellations occuring within 2 days of the event, we can offer to rebook you for another date or apply your credit to chocolate.

Madre Chocolate reserves the right to cancel any event due to inclement weather, farm conditions, failure to meet registration minimums or any other reason seen fit.

At Madre Chocolate, our quest to make truly amazing chocolate is driven by a passion to inspire greater appreciation among consumers for the rich cultural heritage and ecological diversity surrounding cacao.  We aim for our selection of organic, fair trade chocolate bars to connect chocolate-eaters directly to the source, and in doing so to contribute to the well-being of cacao farmers and their communities.
