Make Your Own Bacon Workshop at Motor Supply

Cost: $60 includes beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks, hors d’oeuvres and one hunk of Caw Caw Creek Pastured Pork pork belly bacon. Make up to 3 additional slabs for $20 each!
Nutshell: Make Your Own Bacon attendees will get to take home a hunk of Caw Caw Creek Pastured Pork pork belly bacon, spiced and rubbed by their very own hands! Motor Supply Chef Tim Peters will lead attendees through the process of customizing their bacon with spices and flavors ranging from curry to blueberry. Chef Peters will also discuss culinary tips and jargon with guests, while de-mystifying cooking lingo like pate (cold meatloaf!) and Hollandaise (sounds a whole lot better than hot, buttered mayonnaise with lemon and Tabasco, doesn't it?).
Guests will enjoy complimentary beer, wine & non-alcoholic drinks, as well as appetizers from Motor Supply's extensive selection of house-made charcuterie. At the end of the workshop, attendees will can leave their bacon for smoking at Motor, or they can cure their bacon in their own refrigerators with special directions from Chef Peters.
