Make Your Own Aromatherapy Bath Candy

Join the Untamed Alchemist for this 2 1/2-hour workshop making aromatherapy bath melts, perfect for stuffing stockings and sharing as hostess gifts! You'll learn to melt, make, and mold these delicious "tub truffles" of cocoa butter and sweet almond oil, the perfect carriers for fragrant, skin-nourishing essential oils in the bath!

I'll provide all of the supplies including the organic butters and oils, pure essential oil blends for fragrance, and candy and soap molds; you'll come away with about 12 ounces of "tub truffle" bath melts that can be wrapped in tissue and shared as stocking stuffers or hostess gifts.

We'll begin by discussing the essential oil blends available for your use in this workshop. We'll talk briefly about each blend's aromatic profile and subtle energy and give you a chance to experience each blend's fragrance (sniffing! hurray!). Available aromatherapy blends--made with pesticide-free essential oils--will include:

• Sandalwood & Rose
• Vanilla & Lavender
• Neroli & Sweet Orange
• Frankincense & Myrrh

You may also choose a single essential oil (such as Lavender, Rose, Vanilla, or Neroli, better known as orange blossom….) for your bath candy.

Before you create your tub truffles, we'll talk briefly about melting and blending in general. Then, we'll melt our carriers and oils together and you will add the aromatherapy fragrance blend(s) of your choice. Next, choose your mold and pour your bath candy in to set!

This workshop provides an very basic introduction to aromatherapy and blending bath melts. We'll provide all of the supplies including the silicone molds, organic Sweet Almond Oil, organic Cocoa Butter, and premium essential oils already blended in bath-appropriate scents. You'll come away with approximately 12 ounces of aromatic, skin-nourishing "tub truffles" and a basic understanding of the subtle energies assocaites with the oils and blend(s) you selected. We'll also provide a recipe worksheet and resource list for takeaway so you can continue to create more bath candy after the workshop.

Registration must be made in advance so we can plan for supplies and set-up. There's no need to print or bring a paper ticket--we'll confirm with registrants and provide further details—including directions to the location—prior to the workshop.

I will refund cancellations in full up to 48 hours prior to the workshop. With less than 48 hours notice, cancellations will only be refunded at 50% to cover our supply purchases.

NOTE: To allow that your candies can completely cool and set properly, participants may have to leave their bath melts at the workshop location overnight; in that case, they will be available for pick-up the following day or thereafter.
