M.T. Ray, VP of Talent at High Alpha
M.T. joined High Alpha in 2016 as the VP of Talent. High Alpha is a Venture Studio. In her role, M.T. manages the HR and Talent strategies not only for High Alpha, but also across the the portfolio of High Alpha companies, with heavy emphasis on attracting and hiring talent. Prior to High Alpha, M.T. worked at ExactTarget, as VP of Global Recruiting, where she managed a team of 45 and grew the overall company from 500 to 3000 employees.
M.T. graduated from Bentley University in Waltham, MA, and is a Certified Compensation Professional with World at Work. She was also awarded a 2016 Women of Influence award by the IBJ. She is married (30 yrs!), has three children, and is a native New Englander (but not a Pat’s fan).
Emily Trimble, Campus Director at The Iron Yard
A life-long Hoosier, Emily is currently Campus Director of The Iron Yard in Indianapolis. She’s passionate about helping people find a career they love, and pulls from her experience as a technical recruiter to advise students at The Iron Yard on how to do just that. A member of Women & Hi Tech, Emily’s excited to be in a city that supports (and encourages) women with careers in tech. She’s always happy to chat about the Indy tech scene, tips for finding a new job or career, or the Colts (even this year).
Sara Croft, Content Strategy and PR Manager at TechPoint
Sara Croft leads the content strategy and public relations efforts for TechPoint, the growth initiative for Indiana's technology companies. Sara grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana where she attended Indiana State University for her Bachelor's degree. She moved to Indianapolis after graduation in 2009 and joined Easter Seals Crossroads, a nonprofit disability services organization, where she developed the company's social media and online content strategy from scratch. During her time there, Sara also joined Visit Indy as a freelance writer, ran her own food blog and wrote recipe columns for The Indianapolis Star.
In February 2016, Sara transitioned from healthcare to technology and has since been in charge of securing media placements for technology companies while running a digital media platform on TechPoint.org.
