Make & Take Pie Workshop - An Interactive Family Affair

We are offering an exciting new Workshop for parents and their children to attend together! Each family will get their own ingredients and workspace to make their pies.

You will learn how to make Pate Brisee (Pie Dough) and learn different piecrust designs. We will be making a Harvest Pie (Apple, Cherry & Cranberry) and a Paradise Pumpkin Pie (Cheesecake Pumpkin Pie). Families will take unbaked pies to bake at home for your Thanksgiving feast and extra pie dough for an additional pie.

Cost: $75 per family includes 2 pies to take home to bake with instructions.
Ages: This is an adult and child event. Adult will assist their children in preparing fillings, rolling out dough and putting pies together with the assistance of our chefs.

My name is Tracey Doty, the owner and founder of Lil' Chef School, established in 2010.  We are located in Irvine, formerly known as Young Chefs Academy. We are a children's cooking school that offers birthday parties, cooking classes, workshops, special events, field trips and camps to children from ages 3 to adult.  We specialize in kitchen safety, and teach children how to cook by introducing various age-appropriate cooking techniques. We also teach children how to set and clear a table, execute proper table manners and introduce various cooking utensils and appliances and their use. We educate students on nutrition and we use all fresh ingredients and most dishes are made from scratch.
