Make & Take Mug!

Come on down to turn a beautiful mug for yourself or as an unique gift! Students will walk away from this class with a large mug roughly 5.75”-6.5” in height and 3”-3.5” in diameter that they turn on the lathe. We’ll start off with choosing the pre-laminated wood blank to your liking, shape the outside of the mug, hollow out the inside to an acceptable depth, sand and attach a handle (optional), then wrap up the class by applying your choice of a tung oil based finish on the inside! This class is suited for those who have already developed a basic of understanding of how to work on a lathe, but beginners are welcomed as well!
