After running the wildly successful ‘Make Mozzarella, Drink Wine’ at Kesté’s Fulton Street location over the past six months, Hungry Pop has just officially announced their event series will continue on in their very own South Street Seaport loft this fall. To further improve upon the experience, they will also add a fresh pasta-making component to the two-hour bottomless wine-drinking occasion—thereby looking to establish it as the newest, must-do interactive food & drink experience in New York City!

So following in the footsteps of their sold-out weekly event series, 'Make Pizza, Drink (Bottomless) Wine', Hungry Pop is proud to announce 'Make Pasta & Fresh Mozz, Drink (Bottomless) Wine' going down at 2 PM on Sunday, September 15th, 22nd, and 29th, and at 7 PM on Saturday, October 5th, 12th, and 19th. (And yes, we just annouced November dates as well!)

*PLEASE NOTE: There will be a 7:30 PM start time for Saturday, October 5th ONLY*

*PLEASE DO NOT purchase tickets to Sunday, September 22nd or 29th, as both September dates are currently both sold out; Eventbrite has been experiencing technical issues and they are working on the glitch. Your tickets will immediately be refunded if you do purchase tickets to either September date. We hope you can join us in October or November!

But who really knows what it takes to make pasta and fresh mozzarella all by yourself? Not many, if any at all-- until now, that is.

With a little help from artisanal cheese-making expert and New York native, Max Schwartzman (who learned how to make fresh mozzarella in NYC’s finest establishments like Agata & Valentina, Campbell Cheese, and Mekelburg’s) and Kesté Pizza’s Giorgia Caporuscio and Matteo Bassani (who, after both studying the craft of pasta-making in Italy for nearly two years, have now branched out to teach the authentic Italian ways of how to make it to those in the States), you can now come and learn how to make pasta and fresh mozzarella while enjoying an open red & white wine bar!

Come prepared to roll up your sleeves with Max, Matteo, Giorgia, and the entire Hungry Pop team at their brand spankin’ new East Village private event space, where you’ll spend two hours learning how to make (and taste, duh!) the freshest mozzarella and pasta you’ll find on the entire island of Manhattan.

You’ll get a quick demonstration of how to make both pasta and fresh mozzarella from home, and then you’ll finally be able to participate in making your very own mozzarella and fresh pasta like fettuccine. To top your pasta-making experience off, you’ll be able to choose between a fresh pesto or tomato sauce to enjoy with your dish!

And not only will you gain invaluable hands-on culinary experience, but you’ll also enjoy complimentary glasses of house red & white wines for two hours while learning first-hand about fresh mozzarella and pasta from Hungry Pop’s skilled team of licensed professionals!

You’ll have a delicious chautterie board served up as appetizer—topped to the brim with prosciutto, sopressata, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, capicollo, imported provolone, olives, peppers, breadsticks, and more-- and then you'll finally finish it all off with the most traditional Italian dessert ever: fresh cannoli made by the legendary East Village bakery, Veniero's!
