Risk can be a four letter word in any organization. Yet in today’s climate of change, complexity and ambiguity, risk is required when attempting to leapfrog your competition, innovate or transform your business. How can your business validate a product vision both internally and externally before formally launching the product?
A proof of concept is an essential tool for testing assumptions, validating products and finding opportunities without the need for large investments. Additionally, it is extremely helpful when building an internal vision of a product and/or service -- especially when the vision relies on a big change. A good concepting process (coupled with the right amount of internal socialization and customer input) can affect organizational change and inform key product decisions prior to bringing a product to market.
Our panel will discuss best practices around product concepting and how it can be used as a tool to test feasibility, viability and desirability.
