What You Will Make:

Two Unique Custom-Made Ornaments:

• Agar Art Ornament: You will "paint" designs in petri dishes using brightly colored microorganisms, let them grow, than bio-print your design to seal it in your ornament
• Micropipetting Art Ornament: You will use precision micropipettes to deposit pixel-droplets for your picture then transfer it to your ornament

What You Will Learn (2-Day Format):

• Day 1: Learn to cultivate microorganisms by painting them on the agar plate to create your design and incubating them.
• Day 2: Learn a simple bio-printing technique to transfer your agar art to canvas you will seal in your ornament. Lean micropipetting to deposit droplets just like pixel in an image, then transfer it to be sealed in your ornament
