Make Concrete Planters
Tue, November 1, 2016, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM AEDT
Concrete is so on trend and it's a fantastic way to make all kinds of great, fun stuff. The easiest and most basic project to get started on is the concrete planter. They look so fab potted up with fat juicy succulents and cost a bomb in the design stores! This class will show you how easy it is to make concrete objects and it's guaranteed you will be hooked! It's just in time for Christmas pressies - so don't miss out!
You will learn how to mix and get your concrete consistency just right, use basic recycled household objects to create your own inexpensive moulds and learn how to paint up and decorate your planters.
Because of curing times, we will make a small planter in the class and some tealight holders to take home and we will provide you with some already set concrete blanks to paint up and remove from the mould so you will understand every step.
We will be offering a part two to the concrete class so you can pot oneup with succulents on 15 November at WeCo. Learn how to propegate and care for succulents.
Please note you can order extra concrete kits to take home.
