Bring your machine threaded and ready to go!If you don't have a machine, you can use one of ours! 

If you are only taking the assembly classes and NOT the 5 class package (including Knit Wits, How to Read and Use Patterns, Cutting your Pattern from Fabric), please bring your Machine and CUT PIECES to class.

Scared a bit of knits, but want to learn and make something that fits great? This 2 hour course will guide you though the assembly process, so you feel comfortable sewing knits and learn some handy techniques. This class is made up of two parts, with each class covering a section of assembly in order. 

We recommend you have taken Knit Wits, Edge Finishes and Hems, and Simple Seams before taking this 2 hour course!

We're working with scissors, pins, needles, hot irons and a machine...is there a chance of injuring myself?

YES!!!! If you are not paying attention or using care, it is possible to stab, cut, poke, burn or maim yourself with some of the items we use in class. HISS STUDIO IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INJURIES SUSTAINED DURING CLASS. Please be mindful of the tools you are using, and use at your own risk! By purchasing tickets you acknowledge HISS STUDIO, z|art dept., the instructors and staff are NOT RESPONSIBLE for injuries sustained during class. Thanks!

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you can also flash your receipt on your smart-thingy when you arrive.

What is the refund policy?

Classes are non-refundable. If you need to miss a class due to a scheduling conflict, please contact the organizer in advance to reschedule. We will do our best to accomodate last minute emergencies, but please be respectful of the instructor's and fellow students and only reschedule when absolutely necessary. No-shows WITHOUT PRIOR CONTACT BEFORE CLASS for rescheduling will NOT BE RESCHEDULED and your ticket will not be repurposed.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Yes, if you can't make a class or want to buy a class for a friend, that's ok. If you can let us know in advance, that'd be great, if not, make sure you or your friend can reference who bought the ticket so we know it wasn't stolen or hacked.
