Description

Ever wanted to make a video game? Think you have the chops? Join the Games Institute for a game design workshop and tournament at the Kitchener City Hall Rotunda. Join our panel of video game industry professionals for game design workshops in the morning, and compete with other groups to create the ultimate video game elevator pitch! Best of all, no programming experience required!

Tickets will be available from Eventbrite until Midnight on April 26. After that, tickets will be available at the door starting at 9:00am on April 26. Admission at that time may be limited by capacity, so come early!

By doing so, we aim to establish strong academic and academic-industry research projects and programs, establish a richly cross-disciplinary graduate teaching and research institution, develop commercialization projects with industry partners, strengthen community ties, encourage student engagement, and enhance educational and employment opportunities for students.
