Description

Girls Scouts and Scouts BSA members, engage in meaningful conservation work in an Important Bird Area while providing service to beautify the Grange Insurance Audubon Center grounds and surrounding Scioto-Audubon Metro Park. Activities will range from removing invasive plant species and planting native plant species around the center and in the park as well as cleaning up the banks of the Scioto River on the beautiful Whittier Peninsula. Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts as well as Tigers, Wolves and Bears from Scouts BSA may participate during the first session from 1-2 pm. Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts as well as Webelos and Boy Scouts may participate during the second session from 2-3 pm. Space is limited so be sure to sign up soon!
