Friends of the Parks' Earth Day Parks & Preserves Clean Up and Celebration began 29 years ago as a way to engage communities in their local parks and forest preserves. The Friends of the Major Taylor Trail will meet volunteers on the section of trail just north of the Little Calumet River bridge, 12900 S Eggleston is one of the nearest street addresses.
