Description

Majocchi fabric conversation will dive into the company history and the path of becoming a powerhouse, creating an innovative fabric with high tech content for the industrial market, as well as for shoes, luggage and rucksack, and protective outerwear. During the workshop participants will experiment with pattern generation through; tying, clamping, and stitching fabric pre-dye using various accessories.


MAJOCCHI

MAJOCCHI has been founded in 1941 in Bobbiate, Varese, one of the largest textile area of the time, thanks to a genial intuition of its founder Bruno Romanin. Till the ’60 Majocchi was a leading manufacturer of cotton and cotton blend fabric for rainwear. Since the ’70 with the introduction of Poliammide fibers the company has developed innovative fabric with high tech content for the industrial market as well as for shoes, luggage and rucksack, and protective outerwear.
