Maintaining Your Home Vegetable Garden

Join an expert at our demonstration garden at the Garden of Hope to learn how to assess for any potential issues in your garden. Participants will learn how to control insects, diseases, and wildlife, and how to address other problems in the home vegetable garden. You will also learn about proper garden maintenance, including pruning, plant staking, pest management, and use of pesticides or other alternatives.

Parking: Free visitor parking is available in the parking lot in front of the Waterman Farm Headquarters Building. You may also park alongside Carmack Road near the Garden.
Driving Directions: Waterman Farm is located on the northwest corner of Kenny Road and Lane Avenue in Columbus. From the intersection of Kenny and Lane, travel west on Lane Ave. Take the first right onto Carmack Road to enter the Waterman Agriculture and Natural Resources Laboratory. The road will curve to the right, and the Garden of Hope will be on your left.
