WEBINAR 2: Maintaining KM Momentum: Keeping Partners Engaged

Knowledge Mobilization (KM) comes in all shapes and mixes, from briefing notes to workshops; community engagement to co-creation of research questions. Learn how through the KM Webinar Series. Starting in October 2018, the new KM Webinar Series will cover a variety of topics to help you harness the power of KM to ensure your project makes a lasting impression.

The second webinar in the series digs into one of the most critical components of knowledge mobilization - the engagement of partners. The projects funded by Global Water Futures have established a rich nexus of research partnerships including with industry, non-governmental groups, communities, and government entities at municipal, provincial and federal levels. Healthy and effective partnerships can enrich the experiences of researchers and the value of results through exposure to real problems and development of real solutions. Despite the significance of these relationships, it can be difficult to keep our partners engaged throughout the entire research process. By participating in this webinar, you will find out why engagement can be so challenging, and receive specific action-oriented tips that will help ensure you're meeting the needs of your partners, while also meeting funding requirements and building your reputation as a trustworthy researcher.

Date: November 16, 2018
Time: 12pm CST (1pm EDT)
Who should attend: students, young professionals, researchers and PI’s in the GWF network are invited to register
