Overview

Initial Counseling is to be conducted no less than 12 months prior to a service member's EAS.

Initial Counseling (IC) must be completed NET 18 months from EAS and NLT 12 months from EAS. Please ensure you have all initial counseling documents listed on the initial counseling checklist, link below, completed prior to your appointment. All service members MUST complete the Individual Transition Plan (ITP)/Self-assessment NAVMC 17031 which can be found on the below link.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to appointment.


* *SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES**

ADSEP, MEDSEP, or 90-day EAS may complete their initial counseling appointment as a "walk-in" on Main Side at Leatherneck Lanes, BLDG 1339, Classroom 4, Tue - Fri between 0800-1400.

You are required to have all IC documents completed and in hand prior to speaking with an advisor . Additionally, MEDSEP/ADSEP are REQUIRED to have the following in order to be seen:

MEDSEP - Must have letter/notification from PEBLO/Case Manager

ADSEP - Must have official intent to separate notification from Command
