MAINELY CLARINETS

As a locally formed group of just clarinet players, Mainely Clarinets has been performing in area churches, nursing and veterans homes in Maine and New Hampshire as well as at special local events for more ethan 40 years. Our current membes consist of six players.. Randy Viitala, from Harrison on bass clarinet, Heather Stewart, Mark Stanaford, Erika Gates and Dick Albert from Bridgton and Al Struck from Waterford on soprano clarinet.

It is intereting that all of them are former or current educators of which three have degrees in music.

This uniue sounding group provides a wide variety of music styles like swing, standards, calypso, rag, polkas, folk and classical.
