Being a connected historic downtown or commercial corridor is the future—with the possibilities for connectivity taking many forms.

 

Join us for an informative day-and-a-half workshop with experts from inside and outside Michigan, covering topics that include:

 

  • Planning for high-speed internet, online retailing and advanced data management -- technology infrastructure that can attract new business and influence development
  • Learning how connected cars, bike shares and other modes of non-motorized mobility will transform your district
  • Connecting with neighboring communities and shared assets, spanning land and water, to create dynamic downtowns and destinations where people want to be
  • Creating a successful “trail town economy” – where you increase foot traffic for your businesses when visitors are just passing through
