About this event
The Mahina Offshore 3-day Virtual Cruising Seminar (174 presented since 1976 to over 11,000 sailors) and along with Skagit Valley College Cruisers College is the event to attend if you have aspirations of sailing offshore. Learn about important topics including marine diesel engines and systems, marine electrical systems, plus sail repair, canvas making, sewing and line splicing. Included in the seminar cost of $249 (was $229, increase due to expedited shipping) is a copy of the Offshore Cruising Companion, the 260-page textbook (retailing for $60). The reference material is needed as we will be assigning sections to study in between the live sessions, allowing you to ask questions. If you already own the Offshore Cruising Companion, purchase the $199 ticket. Each section will be recorded and available to participates for 1 week following the seminar.
Please note, the Offshore Cruising Companion will be needed for sure on Saturday, April 17th. If you are purchasing a ticket with shipping to a US address after April 12, 2021, the workbook may be delayed in arrival.
