Football season is coming to an end... Now what? Instead of mourning the loss (and losses), let’s all get together and do what the SEC does best: BE AWESOME. It’s no secret that our conference is unequaled, but why should our dominance be restricted to the field? The time has come, my fellow titans, to join forces and show the commoners how the SEC rocks a holiday party!
Over 10,000 SEC alumni from 14 different schools climbed over that Mason Dixon line and found a home in the Greater Boston area. We may be rivals on the field but we are kindred spirits at heart. And, it’s that time of year so what do you say we share some holiday cheer, delicious drinks and eats, and some fantastic company?! Join us for the third annual SEC Alumni of New England Holiday Party.
Proceeds from the event will go directly back to each of the 14 alumni groups. It’s like you’re giving that money right back to yourself. Winning! What else do you get? Well, we’re taking this party up a notch this year so tickets are very limited – there are 14 groups and only room for 200… you do the math. That’s right, just being there makes you part of an elite group. Not enough for you, Grinch? Well then, you’ll be tickled to know that your entry to the exclusive Magnolias & Mistletoe event will also bring you so much joy in the form of the following:
• Entrance to The Baseball Tavern (the venue will be closed to the public)
• 2 drink tickets
• The chance to win awesome prizes
• Shameless dancing
• Becoming besties with “the enemy”
• Becoming even more awesome for being there
Where: The Baseball Tavern (Boylston Street)
When: January 17th, 7:30pm-11pm
What to wear: The dress code for this event is “fancy casual.” Break out the cute dresses, sparkly jewels, [bow]ties and snazzy blazers – the more dapper, the better. And, feel free to pepper up your ensemble with some southern style and sass – in fact, we strongly encourage such things. Strongly.
It’s going to be everything you hope for in a party and more. Trust me. It’s going to feel like puppies, Christmas, hugs and winning the lottery all rolled into one. Get your tickets now or you’re going to have a lot more to mope about for the next year than the end of the football season!
WE HOPE TO SEE ALL YOUR AWESOME, SMILING FACES ON JANUARY 17th!!!!

We represent the New England alumni chapters of the 14 universities that make up the Southeastern Conference. Each school organizes their own area alumni events, however, we often organize joint events such as this one to celebrate the unity and camaraderie that makes the Southeastern Conference the best collegiate conference in America.
