About this event
What happens when two amateur magicians pull together for a big show? Join us April 1 at Ilion Little Theatre and find out as Jack Trades and Amazing Mr. Mystic try to astound and amaze you with their magical talents. TWO shows will be available to the public beginning with a family orientated “Kids Show” for younger audiences at 3PM.
The 6PM performance is for mature audiences (18 years and older) and for the final trick of the evening, Jack Trades will attempt to defy death by lighting a bullet on fire and hopefully catch it in his mouth merely a few inches away from the audience.
This event is a fund-raising project to raise awareness and funds to support the Ilion Little Theatre celebrating its 100th year season (2023-2024)!
Tickets are $15 for adults (18+) at the door. Limited seating available at the door.
Kids $10 (5-17) Children 5 and under free with purchase of adult ticket.
Jack Trades – From the age of five Jack has always loved magic. From performing small shows at libraries and school classrooms to teaching a summer Magic Camp class every summer for the past ten years to children ages 8-13, magic has been a huge part of his life. His lifelong dream to visit the Magic Castle in Hollywood came true in September of 2022 and it ignited his passion to perform and create this show. Jack always disclaimers his performances by stating “I am not a professional, this could go horribly wrong or be great. We will find out together.”
Mike Noren - At a young age Mike saw The Amazing Johnathan on Comedy Central. Captivated by Johnathan’s unique act he set out to buy his first magic kit. As years went by, Mike eventually came across an antique magic kit at an estate auction at Kutsher's Hotel in the Catskills. This kit contained the mask of residence magician “Mr. Mystic”. After placing the mask on, their souls became bonded. Together they became “The Amazing Mr. Mystic”.

About the organizer
lion Little Theatre has entertained residents of the Mohawk Valley every year since 1924. The founders first met as a private club, rehearsing and performing in the attic of Lucille Worden's home, and then for a time at the Klippel house on Barringer Road.
In 1927 the group purchased the building that had served as the carriage house and stables on the Philo Remington estate. In this historic building, which has come to be referred to simply as "The Stables," they constructed a stage and auditorium which are still in use today, although both have undergone considerable renovation. The building was placed on the national and state historical registries in 1976.
The club became incorporated in 1930 as The Little Theatre Club of Ilion, NY, Inc. In 1968 the club's performances were opened to the public through the sale of subscriptions.
Today Ilion Little Theatre welcomes all adults who are interested in participating in community theater in any capacity, as either Active Members or Subscribers. The Active Members gather at a dinner meeting each month from September through May, to plan productions and to socialize.
