Event description

Description

The FIU Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs' Master of Arts in Global Affairs (MAGA) prepares students to tackle some of the world’s toughest security challenges including transnational crime, cyber security, human rights, surveillance and intelligence gathering, religious conflict, immigration and refugee flows, global terrorism, business risk and more.

“As a graduate of the MAGA program, I’m fortunate to have landed a job at The Beacon Council, Miami-Dade County's official Economic Development Organization and Partner. Understanding the unique challenges for economic growth that every community around the world faces is a key characteristic and hallmark of the MAGG program. At its core, the aim of the program has been to provide its graduates with the tools needed to discern the critical strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and challenges communities across the world face and how best to leverage the available resources to meet their needs.”
