A fundraiser for the homeless, featuring a four-course Prime Rib Dinner, the Opera Colorado Singers and Douglas County High School students as castle servants. This event benefits the Inversion Community Food Bank.
A Madrigal Dinner is a 21st Century re-creation of the Renaissance feasts held in the great baronial halls throughout England during the twelve days of Christmas.
Our 21st Century recreation of these feasts, the entertainment, is every bit as dazzling. The royal court, with the King and Queen, and profusion of cast members including a court jester, itinerant actors, ensembles, jugglers, mimes, and all sorts of characters.
All these combine in their early English dialogue, laughter, and songs to bring to the audience a wonderful immersion into Renaissance England. The ambiance of the evening is one of warmth, laughter, love and joy.
A Four-course Prime Rib Dinner (gluten-free & vegetarian meals available) will be served. $49 ticket prices extended until noon on Monday, December 18th. Sorry, no tickets available at the door.
The Opera Colorado Singers will be providing most of the the singing, acting and entertainment, along with Douglas County High School students. Childcare is provided for kids ages 11 and under. One child per adult ticket free of charge. $10 for each additional child (covers entire event) pay cash at event.
