Description

Learn how to make Mad Max themed costumes for our Mad Max Ride happening on June 22nd.
You can paint, sew, glue, laser cut custom pieces, use rivets, snaps or embellishments and be really creative. Our pro makers will help you as well.

STUFF TO BRING:
Materials such as old pairs of jeans, belts, old bicycle tire inner tubes, chain, rags, etc.
An array of recycled materials to draw upon will be provided.

THE MAKERS:
> Shannon and Maria Hoover, founders of Fuse33, Avenue Magazine's "Top 40 under 40 winners"
> Angie Rees, a talented local painter who's work is widely collected and can be seen in many galleries across western Canada
> Bill Hornecker, an award-winning independent filmmaker with years of experience teaching film production, photography and wood working will be our professional instructors for the evening.

THE SPACE:

THE RIDE:
Happening on June 22nd, Mad Max Ride is a FREE critical mass, post-apocalyptic themed ride featuring music, art, costume and motion. All modes of non-motorized active transport are welcome to enter (bicycles, roller blades, skateboards).
