Mad Co. Elder and Community Support Group #2

Mad Co. Elder and Community Support Group #2

By Eric Rooney

Overview

Join us Saturday November 22nd at the Madison County Library to brainstorm ways we as a community can support the folks who need it.

This meeting is a good fit for:-folks who currently need support with a family member or elder-folks who care about our elders and have experience in supporting folks who need it-folks who are "caregivers"-folks in the elder care space-thought leaders in "aging in place"*please note this is simply a brainstorming session where we can come together and further unravel our community needs and make a plan to best advocate for those who need it.*how does this relate to "conscious homesteading" you might ask? Elders are a part of the consciousness needed to have a whole working system. Many folks often deem elders unable or unqualified to be in the "Web". I envision homesteads supporting folks no matter their age or abilities, every spirit contributes no matter what!
