Thu, April 20, 2017, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM EDT
Macro photography is an amazing way to draw attention to the small details that are often overlooked.
In this class Ben will discuss the how's, why’s, and when’s of macro photography. How to get the desired results, why the light and optics work the way they do, and when a macro image is the right image to take for a particular subject.
Please bring your camera and macro lens for a tabletop
demonstration and possibly a photowalk (weather permitting). The goal is for each participant to not only gain valuable knowledge but to leave with photos they took on their camera.
Topics will include:
-How a macro lens works
-Extension tubes and other alternatives
-Critical focus and depth of field issues
-Macro photography as part of a broader story
-Problem solving when things go wrong
-Lighting in small spaces
Class held at CameraMall and costs $40.
