Machinery Rescue Operations Course 8 hours
Lecture reviewing case histories, identify hazards, types of energy, lock-out/tag-out, tool kits, and medical considerations Rotations cover tool familiarization, torch use, size-up, and lock-out/tag-out Rotations cover meat grinder entrapment, hand/finger entrapment, fence impalement & auger entrapment, and real machinery scenarios.
All students will get hands on tools and props! You don't have to be in a heavily industrial area to encounter one of these scenarios. Any grocery store that packages meat, the local auto garage, any construction site or residential neighborhood.
EYE PROTECTION, HEARING PROTECTION AND TURNOUT GEAR IS REQUIRED FOR PORTIONS OF HANDS ON TRAINING
