machine-sewing 101 for kids and adults
Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (CST)
We've added a fifth session of this popular workshop on Sunday, February 16 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
This workshop is for adults and kids ages 6 and up.
Whether you received a new sewing machine over the holidays or you've had one for years that you're afraid to touch, this workshop is for you!* Just bring your machine and your manual, and join Sarah Terry for step-by-step instruction on how to thread the needle, wind the bobbin, and perform other amazing feats! This workshop is for basic sewing only. No embroidery machines or machines that utilize computerized design programs please!
Participants will apply these skills toward making pincushions to use in future sewing projects.
All supplies are included in the $35 workshop fee.
*Those who do not own machines but would like to take advantage of this beginning sewing class may rent one of four shop machines for the workshop.
