Let's Get Together and Party!

This is a 30ish year reunion for those that graduated McMaster in and around 1989. (All Years welcome) Yes it has been at least 30 years since we graduated and we are WAY overdue to get together and party!

The way to make this event great is to get as many people there as possible, so SPREAD THE WORD! and have them committ as soon as possible by purchasing a ticket. Refunds available.

The event has been booked for Saturday September 21th, 2019 at 7pm. Currently The Phoenix has been booked for the reunion. It currently has a capacity of 180 people. If it looks like there will be a larger attendance, we will swtich to a different venue at MAC..... but we need to know early!

The will be a cost of $40/ticket if you purchase prior to May 30th, 2019 after which the cost will increase to $50/ticket. This incentive also helps us confirm number of attendee to allow selection of the best venue. Refunds are available up to 30 days prior to the event. This cost will cover all expenses including Venue, Band, DJ, Snacks, Gift, Staff, etc. and maybe even a couple drinks! All other Drink tickets will be purchased at the venue.

We will also be securing group rates at local hotels and trying to coordinate transportation the night of the event. (Bus, Van, Cabs, UBERS, etc.)

The is a MAC Football game at 1pm (Playing Windsor) and the Rugby coach is trying to arrange a home game for that weekend as well. The Annual Rugby Alumni game may be on the Sunday.

FAQs

What if I didn't graduate in 1989?

No worries...everyone is welcome..hopefully you at least went to MAC...but if you didn't it is not a big deal.

How many people will be attending?

It all depends on how good a job people do spreading the word. It is important we know soon how many people are attending so that if there is more than 200 we can secure a larger venue.

Where does the money for the tickets go?

We want to have a great event so the money will go to pay the Venue, hire a Band, Hire a DJ, Pay for snacks during the event, staff to help the night of the event, perhaps a few drinks, and other general expenses. Any money left over will be donated back to the University.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Transportation to the event will be your responsbility. We will be looking into Cabs, UBERs, Buses for transportation after the event depending on the number of attendees.

What's the refund policy?

Tickets are refundable up to 30 days prior to the event.
