Event description

Description

Explore the Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA) methodology with Michael Fornasiero of Empire State Development to help you identify potential failures in your product design. Then, collaborate with the cohort to determine potential causes, prioritize serious consequences, estimate failure frequency, and modify your process to reduce risk. Taking the time to plan in advance could save you time, effort, money, and a huge headache!

Michael Fornasiero is a Business Development Specialist focused on Manufacturing USA Initiatives at Empire State Development – NYSTAR, in his role he works as both a liaison and manufacturing technology specialist between the small and mid-sized manufacturers in New York State, NY’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership – Fuzehub, and the network of Manufacturing USA advanced manufacturing research institutes. Prior to joining Empire State Development he was a Program Manager at the Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute (DMDII) and was a mechanical engineer for GE Global Research in their Manufacturing Process Lab.
