The full impact of the pandemic on the global luxury fashion industry is still emerging, but there is no doubt that disrupted supply chains, financial instability and travel restrictions derailed its projected growth. Whilst the prolonged lockdown had a noticeable positive effect on the environment, industry watchers worried that prior commitments to responsible business and sustainability would be lost. Innovation is considered a core attribute of luxury fashion brands and this seminar examines examples of marketing strategy and sustainable innovation in the luxury fashion sector as it works to build back better.
