Bed and Breakfast, Hiking and Kayaking

If you like a little adventure (but let’s not get too crazy here) and you like a little pampering too, join us for the women's only Luxury Adventure in quaint Stillwater, Minnesota.

  • 3 nights and 4 days – June 7-10
  • 3 nights and 4 days – June 21-24 {FULL – booked for corporate event}

Investment: $2,499

Current specials:

  • Would you like your own room with no up-charge? Be one of the first two to register.
  • $50 credit for you AND your friend when you register together. No limits here!
  • This retreat is limited to only 6 women, so register early to hold your sacred space. Early registration discount of $50.

The Retreat:

Stillwater is a historic small town with over 50 locally owned and operated shops – antiques, fashions, art galleries, home décor, tasty treats, and pampering services along the beautiful St. Croix River. We will have the exclusive use and private stay at the 19th Century Ann Bean Mansion. With the entire Inn to ourselves, we will get to know each other in comfort and Victorian style. The mansion has 5 rooms, and though our retreats are typically designed for double occupancy, there will be two single rooms available at no additional upcharge reserved as an option for the first two registrants. Each room has a private bathroom, plush robes, mini-fridge, fireplace, and whirlpool or soaking tub as well as a rain shower. You’ll adventure during the day, and retreat to a restoring sanctuary at night.

The Activities:

Kayaking. We will join Kerri from Wahoo! Adventures for a guided kayaking tour along the St. Croix river. Ride the Stillwater Trolley to the landing where we will be provided with all the gear and safety equipment needed for a 3-4 hour guided adventure on the river. Work that upper body, breathe in the fresh air, and continue bonding with others while you get to know yourself a little better too.

Hiking. Time to fire up that lower body with a four-mile hike to the 100ft wide, 45ft multi-level drop Willow Falls tucked inside a 200ft gorge. Depending on the water level, you’ll have the option of playing around or even behind the falls! Feeling extra spunky – climb to the top of the overlook for views of the river.

The topic:

"The multi-faceted diamond" - Like a diamond, we have many sides to us represented in roles we play - mother, daughter, wife, friend, employee. In this program, we'll learn how to integrate our many roles to feel fully present in all of them, we'll get in control of our days, and learn the steps to truly shine.

We won’t spoil all the surprises, but will give you a glimpse as to what to expect. In this adventure, you’ll have a mix of outdoor adventure and luxurious pampering to encourage your journey to your best self. There will be time for socializing, activity, learning, and solitude. Shopping, playing, lounging, you don’t have to choose.

Day One – Arrive at the Inn to a strawberries and champagne reception, get settled, and meet your new friends. We’ll give you an overview as to what to expect and walk a half mile to downtown for a group dinner to get to know each other. Afterwards, you’ll have free time to continue to explore the downtown area or head back to enjoy the peace of the Inn, enjoy wine and snacks in the parlor, or soak in the tub. It’s your time to take care of you, feel rested, breathe.

IMG_8195Day Two – Enjoy a multi-course breakfast prepared by the Innkeepers, then get swept away to the first adventure in a Trolley! We’ll enjoy a 3-4 hour guided kayaking adventure, seeing sights, chatting, and working that upper body strength before arriving back on shore for a barbeque picnic with smores, beer, and wine. Once back at the hotel, get cleaned up and refreshed, enjoy free time to explore, reflect, and then meet in the parlor for group discussions. We’ll end the evening in the dining hall for a catered dinner, followed by a social hour.

IMG_8410Day Three – After another prepared breakfast, we’ll pile into a lush limo coach that will drive us 30 minutes to Willow River State Park, where we will hike, play, breathe, reflect for 3-4 hours before hiking out to a picnic area for a catered picnic lunch. There will be extra time to enjoy the nature center walking path, playing at the beach, or seeing wildlife. The limo will take us back to the hotel, where we will get refreshed in time for group discussions and a catered dinner. After which, enjoy mingling with the group, or taking time for yourself.

Day Four – Following breakfast today, we’ll have our closing ceremony where you’ll celebrate your wins, and leave feeling empowered with a plan you can take back with you into your day-to-day activities.

Plan to arrive at the Inn between 5-6pm on Thursday for registration and social hour. The daily schedule varies by activity, but typically begins around 8am for breakfast and ends around 7pm. Free time is built into the daily schedule for socializing or individual reflection. Check-out is 11am on Sunday, with programming ending around 10am to allow time for packing and socializing or enjoying the amenities one last time.
