Luv Mineral Cosmetics Presents Natural Beauty Tour Kickoff Celebrating National Recording Artist Reesa Renee as Luv's Spokesmodel

Luv Mineral Cosmetics’ Natural Beauty Tour educates women on natural cosmetics and beauty techniques. The tour will kickoff Friday, July 12th with a celebration for National Recording Artist Reesa Renee, Luv’s Spokesmodel. The event will feature a performance by DMV’s Apollo Champion and Rising Soul Singer Reesa Renee, makeovers and natural beauty tips by Luv Mineral Cosmetics and natural hair tips by C. WHO:

Luv Mineral Cosmetics is a new all-natural makeup brand for women of color and one of the first safe and healthy direct sales cosmetics brands for minority women, which launched in Atlanta in March and DC this summer after winning the prestigious Terry College of Business University of Georgia’s Next Top Entrepreneur competition, which included investment capital to launch the company nationwide.

Reesa Renee is a singer, songwriter and lyrical poet from the DMV area, who won the prestigious Amateur Night at the Apollo in October of 2011. Since then, she has released a top 20 iTunes charting album, Reelease, and was praised by Jill Scott, Chuck Brown, Raheem DeVaughn and other musical greats, as well as named one of the top 25 artists in the DMV by 93.9 WKYS & Brightest Young Things.

Luv Mineral Cosmetics’ Natural Beauty Tour will support its mission to spread safe and healthy beauty and personal care products to women of color, while helping them make the transition to all-natural products. Through partnerships with various salons and beauty professionals, Luv intends to empower women to make healthy beauty decisions. Spokesmodel Reesa Renee was selected to represent Luv because of her natural beauty and commitment to health and empowerment. During the Natural Beauty Tour and Friday’s Celebration, women will be empowered and will understand the dangers of toxic cosmetic chemicals such as talc, petroleum, mineral oil and artificial fragrances.
