Your team competes in a triathlon of fishing, golfing, and shooting sporting clays with food and entertainment added—what a week-end!  Fun starts on Friday morning with registration at 8:00 and shooting competition, practice round of golf or fishing, followed by food and entertainment Friday night.

Then on Saturday 2 members of your 4-person team compete on the beautiful Links at Land's End golf course while the other 2 members of your team fish for largemouth bass on renowned Lake Fork (no restrictions on use of a pro or guide--call for further details.)  Winners will be crowned in each competitive event while accumulating points towards the overall team Sporting Challenge champion to be announced Saturday afternoon.

Sign up today to guarantee your spot--field will be limited to 72 teams of 4.  Team entry fee of $2000 covers all events, food, and entertainment.  All net proceeds will be donated to the Folds of Honor, a national organization devoted to "Honoring Our Heroes and Educating Their Legacy" by awarding scholarships to the families of wounded or fallen American military.

Freedom is not free-This is your call to duty!

Largemouth Bass Fishing on World Famous Lake Fork

Lake Fork, Texas

Day of competition: Saturday, October 28th
Time of tournament: 6:00 am (or safe light) - 2:00 pm

Two person teams. This will be a paper style tournament. There will be an observer in each boat. When any fish is caught it will be weighed by the observer and verified by the person that caught it. The weight will then be transmitted back to tournament headquarters and displayed on the leader board. There will be a blackout (no call ins) the last 2 hours to build suspension. Total weight of the top five fish will be counted. In case of a tie, biggest fish will be tie breaker. If there is a 10# fish over 24" caught, it may be brought to the tournament headquarters (this is optional). It must be in an operational live well and alive, so that it can be released back into the lake.

This tournament is open to ALL-- your 2-person fishing team may be with a pro, pro-staffer, guide or your best amateur friend.

Golfing on The Link's at Lands End

285 Private Rd 5980, Yantis, TX 75497, Phone: (903) 383-3290

Day of competition: Saturday, October 28th
Time of tournament: 9:00 am shotgun start

This will be a 2 person team, 18 hole event in a net shamble format.

A "shamble" is a tournament format in which the team of 2 players selects the one best drive between them after teeing off, then both play their own golf balls from that position into the hole until the ball is holed. You can think of a shamble as a scramble off the tee and then regular stroke play into the hole.

Once both of your golf balls have been holed you will enter both of your gross scores on your card. At conclusion of play the pro shop will compute net scores and your Stableford points based on the better net score of the team (hole by hole).

We will need your GHIN Index to compute your handicap. If you do not have a GHIN Index, your handicap will be computed via the Callaway System.

Shooting at Hidden Lakes Hunting Lodge Resort

1609 Co Rd 1912, Yantis, TX 75497 Phone: (903) 383-7100

Day of competition: Friday, October 27th
Time of shoot: From 9:30 am - 2:30 pm

Competition will consist of 50 sporting clays, 5 releases per 5 stations, 2 rotations, & 5 shooters per rotation. Prior to start of competition there will be professional shoot and demonstration on technique of shooting sporting clays. We will be providing a shooting schedule to assist you with an approximate time for your shoot if you decide not to make the opening professional exhibition.

Folds of Honor

The Folds of Honor Foundation (Visit their website) is rallying a nation to ensure no family is left behind in the fight to preserve Patriot freedom. Through scholarships and other assistance, we give back to the spouses and children of soldiers killed or disabled in service to our country. We provide healing, hope and an opportunity for dreams to be realized... with the support of people like you. We feel this is our duty as citizens of the greatest country in the world.

The need is great, and, to paraphrase the words of Patrick Henry, their battle is ours. As Patriots, we feel a collective duty to honor those who have sacrificed by serving the families they leave behind.

Where is My Money Going?
