Gen. Arnold W. Bunch Jr. is Commander, Air Force Materiel Command, headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
He is responsible for installation and mission support, discovery and development, test and evaluation, life cycle management services and sustainment of virtually every major Air Force weapon system. The command employs approximately 87,000 people and manages $60 billion of budget authority annually.
Gen. Bunch was commissioned in 1984 as a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He completed undergraduate pilot training in 1985. He completed operational assignments as an instructor, evaluator and aircraft commander for the B-52 Stratofortress. Following graduation from the Air Force Test Pilot School, Gen. Bunch conducted developmental testing in the B-2 Spirit and B-52s, and served as an instructor in each.
Additionally, he has commanded at the squadron, group, wing, and center levels. Prior to his current assignment, he was the Military Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics, at the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia.
During this event, General Bunch will present the mission of the Air Force Materiel Command; talk about his long and distinguished career in Air Force Operations, Flight Test and Acquisition; provide his thoughts on the future of the Air Force in the digital age and conclude with his views on leadership. Following his presentation, guests will be encouraged to ask questions.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend Gen. Bunch's presentation. Ceruti’s is following the required state guidelines for social distancing and sanitation. A copy of their written policy is available upon request. However, for any of you who do not quite yet feel comfortable or feel you are currently at high risk, we would understand if you prefer to stay back. We want all to feel comfortable as we transition back to some normality.
